Don't overlook the importance of surface repairs. Notice any cracks, scratches, chips or excessive peeling on your vehicle? Make sure you repair these issues as soon as possible to give your vehicle a paint job with the smoothest and glossiest finish possible.
The trusted estimators at Maaco Fayetteville, will examine your vehicle and recommend condition repairs. Our surface prep options are affordable and will ensure your MAACOVER looks amazing. Repairing any surface issues before painting will allow the paint job to maintain a shiny finish for a long time.
Step 3 - Surface Sealer
Have you ever noticed how some paint jobs fail to hold their shine? It could be a matter of that old paint mixing with the new, creating uneven color and gloss. Sealer plays that all-important role of establishing a barrier between the old and new paint. This ensures consistent color and a higher gloss throughout the entire painted surface.
At Maaco of Fayetteville, we offer three grades of sealer. The right choice is all about durability, and ultimately the amount of prep work needed for your particular vehicle. When it comes to the durability of your vehicle's paint, sealer helps keep consistent shine long after the job is done.
Step 4 - Paint Services
Maaco offers three paint packages that are designed to your specific needs and budget concerns.
These packages are our Basic, Preferred and Premium paint jobs. Each of these services take two factors into consideration: Longevity of the paint, including warranty and durability, and the appearance of the paint, including gloss and color match.
A single-stage enamel paint is applied to refresh the appearance of your vehicle. The basic package also includes a one-year warranty. This service will give your vehicle an attractive glossy finish and accurate color match.
Want greater durability and a reasonable price?
Maaco's Preferred service will accomplish both and comes with a three-year warranty. The package entails a single-stage paint application that uses urethane, which helps prevent chipping and provides more resiliency than enamel paint.
When it comes to the best look and performance, there is no topping our two-stage Premium service. Complete with a five-year warranty, this service offers the highest level of durability, best possible glossy finish and superb color match that you will want to show off for years.
If you're in need of a variety of services, our platinum package bundles several excellent repairs that provide an excellent paint job. This package includes light chip and scratch repairs, an initial prep with priming and block sanding and a urethane sealer. It also comes with a five-year warranty that protects against gloss fading or peeling.Watch our video

Step 5 - Protection & Finish
A new paint job warrants proper protection. At Maaco, clear coats are often applied after painting to protect the paint. This final step also ensures an accurate gloss match and provides a seamless repair.
Step 6 - Proper Car Care
Making sure the durability and appearance of your new paint last a long time requires proper car care. Proper maintenance will enable your car to better hold its color and shine and provide protection from the environment.
Try to do the following:
- Avoid driving on sand, salt or loose gravel;
- Park in the shade, but avoid trees;
- Wash your car regularly.
Remove unwanted contaminants that may be damaging your finish by washing your car regularly. Elements such as tree sap, bird droppings or bugs can damage your car's finish. We recommended that you hand wash your car twice a month with mild automotive detergent. Avoid scratching the surface of the paint by using a soft cloth or sponge.
Also make sure to rinse underneath your car to remove salt, dirt, or other chemicals that can cause rusting.
Four to six weeks following your paint job, we recommend that you start waxing your vehicle every 3-4 months to protect the new finish. Make sure to use an automotive wax that does not contain abrasive cleaning agents, such as silicone.
Apply a thin coat of wax to the entire car using the provided applicator and with short, circular motions. Allow the wax to dry completely before removing it. Apply firm pressure and use the same circular motion with a terry cloth towel to wipe the wax off.
