Lancaster Veteran Surprised with Free Vehicle Repair
June 28, 2021
Local veteran, James Fiori, went to pick up his vehicle from Maaco Lancaster and he was met with a surprise as he learned his vehicle repairs were free.
Maaco Lancaster gifted this summer surprise for their valued customer, celebrating a deserving member of their community.
“James came in for an estimate on his 15-year-old Buick Lacrosse, a car he has always loved and cared for since the day he bought it new,” says Rob Taylor, owner, Maaco Lancaster. “Having served in the Korean war and volunteering at the Veterans of Foreign Wars, James has given a lot back to his country and community. With his wife passing last year, we hoped this small gesture would bring joy to an incredibly deserving and inspirational man.”
After parking his car in the same place in his driveway every day, over the years, the sun has taken its toll on the paint job, particularly the left side which always faces the sun. The sun also deteriorated the cowl pieces which also needed to be replaced.
“Gifting James with this surprise was a highlight for our whole team,” continued Taylor. “Maaco has a long history of supporting the communities we serve, and we are happy to go the extra mile offering this summer surprise to a local hero.”
For a ‘summer surprise’, Maaco facilities throughout the country surprised deserving customers by paying for their repairs so they could kick-off the new season right. Independently owned and operated, Maaco franchisees care about the communities they work and live in.
